Day Off

Tomorrow I'll be having a day off. It's our 47th wedding anniversary so I'm having a quiet day. Well, to tell the truth the day of rest is enforced because we're getting some new windows fitted to the upstairs back of our house and one of the windows is in my craft room. lol I'm going to finish the card I'm making at the moment and then I'll have to move my workbench across the room - and the set of drawers, the spare stool and my wastepaper bin. I've already taken the curtains down in the very back room and removed items near the window, just in case. Our bedroom is in the back as well so I'm going to have to take our curtains down after we get up tomorrow morning. We had a letter from the firm asking us to remove any valuables and cover up anything else. We've had them a few times to do various jobs and they've been fantastic so I'm not sure why we've had the letter this time - unless someone has complained about a job recently. I'm just wondering what other items I should move in my room - do I really need to move all my jars of flowers and ribbons? Do I need to move my boxes of gems and buttons? Ugh!

I'll have a lovely new window in my craft room on Tuesday, I hope! I'll be playing catch up again on all my usual challenges just as I'd got back in to the swing of things.

  5. Oh Hazel......Happy Anniversary, and MANY more to come. God has blessed you with a wonderful husband and a solid marriage. I know, from experience, that it takes a lot of love, commitment, working together, patience and love to make it 47+ years. God bless the two of you as you continue this beautiful journey of love. I am SO happy for you both.
    Blessings,
